Understanding the entangled spins in QED

چکیده
The stability of two entangled spins dressed by electrons is studied by calculating the scattering phase shifts. The interaction between electrons is interpreted by full relativistic QED and the screening effect is also considered phenomecally in terms of the Debye exponential form e−αr. The results show that if the EPR-type states are kept stable under the interaction of QED, the spacial wave function must be parity-dependent. The spin singlet state s = 0 and the polarized state 1 √

Unconditional preparation of entanglement between atoms in cascaded optical cavities.
We propose a scheme to unconditionally entangle the internal states of atoms trapped in separate high-finesse optical cavities. The scheme uses the technique of quantum reservoir engineering in a cascaded cavity-QED setting, and for ideal (lossless) coupling between the cavities generates an entangled pure state. Highly entangled states are also shown to be possible for realizable cavity-QED pa...
متن کاملCluster-type entangled coherent states
We present the cluster-type entangled coherent states (CTECS) and discuss their properties. A cavity QED generation scheme using suitable choices of atom-cavity interactions, obtained via detunings adjustments and the application of classical external fields, is also presented. After the realization of simple atomic measurements, CTECS representing nonlocal electromagnetic fields in separate ca...
متن کاملDeterministic generation of polarization-entangled photon pairs in a cavity-QED system
We propose a cavity-QED scheme that can deterministically generate EinsteinPodosky-Rosen polarization-entangled photon pairs. A four-level tripod atom successively couples to two high-Q optical cavities possessing polarization degeneracy, assisted by a classical π-polarized pump field. The stimulated Raman adiabatic passage process in the atom-cavity system is used to produce the polarization-e...

The electron and nuclear spin degrees of freedom in two-dimensional semiconductor quantum dots are studied as important resources for such fields as spintronics and quantum information. The coupling of electron spins to their orbital motion, via the spinorbit interaction, and to nuclear spins, via the hyperfine interaction, are important for understanding spin-dynamics in quantum dot systems. T...
متن کاملDetecting entanglement using a double-quantum-dot turnstile.
We propose a scheme based on using the singlet ground state of an electron spin pair in a double-quantum-dot nanostructure as a suitable setup for detecting entanglement between electron spins via the measurement of an optimal entanglement witness. Using time-dependent gate voltages and magnetic fields the entangled spins are separated and coherently rotated in the quantum dots and subsequently...
